The diagram shows the bass guitar fretboard as you see it while playing. For example, if the tuning is shown as open notes: B, E, A, D, G, then B is the thickest (5th) string, and G is the thinnest (1st) string. Each dot represents a note in the scale. Use the diagram to visualize note positions and practice finger placement.
